Portobello Waterfront Study

The Portobello ‘waterfront’ study was jointly commissioned by the City of Edinburgh Council’s City Development (Economic Development) Department and the EDI Group to look at the overall improvement and opportunities for development within the Portobello area.

The aim of the report is to analyse the key issues affecting the quality of the urban environment in particular the waterfront and the High Street, to offer proposals which might make positive contributions to the wellbeing of the community and to address the ongoing concerns of environmental decline of the waterfront promenade.
