BCO Innovation Award for New Waverley Office

BCO Innovation Award for New Waverley Office

AMA was delighted to learn that our New Waverley Office for Artisan Real Estate Limited has been given the Innovation Award at the BCO Scottish Awards 2020 ceremony.

Now known as “Queen Elizabeth House” the building was designed to exploit a variety of low-energy techniques, ranging from a well insulated and air-tight envelope, design for low-energy use throughout and provision for cyclists and those travelling by public transport, all helping to minimise the operating cost over the life of this fantastic building.

Not just good for the environment and staff wellbeing, his will benefit Artisan’s flagship tenant - the Government Property Agency hosting a variety of departments including part of the Scottish Office - as they gradually move into the building and bring even more life to the New Waverley Masterplan.

Congratulations to our client Artisan Real Estate, Main Contractor, McAleer & Rushe and the whole team who made this possible.
